Do You Need a Pressure Booster Pump?

Posted by admin on Apr 10, 2012 in Troubleshooting

Do you live at the end of a water main or on the top of a hillside where you struggle with low water pressure?  You can have the permitted limit for pressure, 15 lbs, and still feel like you have almost none.  Quit struggling!  Pressure booster pumps are relatively easy to install and can often be done in less that a day.  In some cases, they can even be tied into your sprinkler system, and although it doesn’t feel like it yet, summer is just around the corner!

Many times builders offer opntois like these. The problem with doing it yourself later is that the plumbing, supply, waste and vent, might not be available after the house is complete. 8000 is not unreasonable depending on the fixtures they are using and the square footage of the bathroom. I redid my bath recently for about 5000 using top of the line fixtures and special heating units. However I spent almost two months doing it. I could not work every day but a lot more goes into it that you might first think.
