Save Time and Money With a Recirculation System

Posted by admin on Mar 23, 2012 in Uncategorized

You come home from work on a cold, snowy day and head for a hot shower.  How long does it take for your hot water to arrive?  Every minute your shower runs while you wait for the water to heat up is not only time wasted but money wasted as well.  You pay for every unused gallon that is going down the drain.  Multiply up to 2 1/2 gallons per minute, per shower, per day.  That cost adds up quickly.  Installing a hot water recirculation system gives you on-demand hot water throughout your home.  It can be installed in a new home or on an existing system.  So the next time you turn on a faucet or a shower, consider the time and money you could be saving.

Plumbing is learned! Anyone with some ptacenie can learn to perform plumbing projects. Changing faucets, toilets, etc., are relatively simple, it’s just knowing what to do, and what type of tools and materials are required, in order for a complete and satisfactory job to be performed. Since the introduction of plastic pipes, plumbing is even easier today, than it was just 30 years ago. Advances in technology, benefit everyone, not just the plumber. There are some excellent DIY books available. The problem is, most people read just enough to do the particular task, that they want to perform, and don’t read the whole book, thinking they don’t need all the extra info. Even as a plumber, I still learn new things, on a daily basis. Closing your mind to new ideas, will cost you in the long run. Good luck!

Sometimes, trying something that looks easier than it is can cost you in the long run as well. Plumbing often looks very simple, but the leading cause of damage to a home is because of water not fire. Don’t be penny-wise and pound-foolish!
